Alright, so the first blog post has arrived. So. The red carpet for the premiere of On The Roads is rolled out. Crush barriers are placed. Security hired. The host on this event is ready. He's got the microphone in his hand and ponders about his lines. Dear readers and visitants. No, that's too formal. Lovely browsers. No man. What about: hey y'all travelers! How d'y'do? No, I ain't got no cowboy hat. Fuck it. What does a good intro matter? Do you have your ID with you? The guest list has been printed on a yards long perchment roll and the reservations are endless. Not good? No money back. However, as you are here now anyway, I might just as well lead you around a bit in this modest arena.
On the ground floor there's a lot to experience. Whatever you're longing for, here it becomes visualised. Logic and ratio are unimportant, only in retrospect they come into being. Here the laws of attraction apply. And that which attracts you always contains something that is somewhere else than where you are now. That's the essence of desire, isn't it? And travelling is desire. It is the desire to visit a certain place on this globe, to see it, to stroke it, to feel it, to smell it, to touch it, to soak it in, to seize it, to lick it, and to sniff it all up till all the senses are touched and you come to the conclusion that, once in a while, the world can be a damn beautiful place. In short, travelling allows you to experience something you have never experienced before.
Let us go up the stairs. As you can see, the first floor consists of a labyrinth. Life is a way, they say, or was it something with bitch? Ah well, let's just follow the path and see where it ends. By the way, I will confess something to you. You know what has always surprised me? That people, throughout their lives, keep doing things they don't find pleasant. Why is that? Is it because of perpetual lack of money? Or is it because people genuinely don't know what kind of situation they would like to see for themselves? What...what are you looking at me for? I'm dead serious. Don't you think that the majority of people have never looked into their soul to find out what kind of lifestyle suits them best? I think...oh, wait, we arrived at the door to the second floor. Come on, I will show you what's over here.
As you can see, here you are seeing yourself. This is a corridor full with pictures of yourself in endless circumstances. Yes, with most pictures you see yourself with a backpack indeed. And yes, they are mostly accompanied by a big smile. You know what they are? A recipe for a joyful life. It's not as difficult as it seems. Only you have to choose the images that, according to your idea of happiness, gives you the most satisfaction. And then follow that for the rest of your life. Capiche?
Well, I think we're at the end of the tour. Look around a bit more if you want. Although a lot of things are still under construction at the moment. There are another 231 floors in this building, but we can't go there; the keys have been lost in subconsciousness. However, we do have a smoking room in the basement. The rest of this digital chamber is, of course, smoke-free.
